## An earlier research position

This paper introduces the early SIML framing around embodied, memory-constrained agents and internal prediction error. It connects the Free Energy Principle to the proposed concept of Cognogenics.

The original publication uses strong artificial-life language. Deep SIML now retains it as historical work rather than as its current evidence standard. That distinction is part of the research record and is preserved here.

## Follow the development

The paper and its code release document an initial direction. Later work narrows the questions into particular simulation studies, planning interventions, and reproducible prototypes.

The public page credits Deep SIML Labs. Richard's role is research leadership and publication of the lab's work; the institutional byline remains attached to this record.
